Can I view a Villa in person before Booking?
Of course! If you’d like to visit one of our villas in person before making a booking, simply contact us in advance to schedule an appointment.
If the villa is available at the requested time, we’ll be happy to give you a personal tour – so you can get a feel for your future dream vacation home.
And if you fall in love with it on the spot, you’re welcome to book directly afterwards. -
How can I rent a boat from Happy Cape?
Renting a boat with Happy Cape is easy and personal. If you're interested in a boat rental, simply submit a request using our inquiry form – we’ll get back to you promptly with availability, details, and an individual offer.
Please note: Online booking is not available for boats, as each rental requires personal coordination.- The minimum rental period is 3 days
- Boat rentals are only available to guests aged 21 and over
- A security deposit is required and will be refunded after proper return and inspection of the boat
Before your trip, you'll receive a comprehensive safety and handling briefing from a licensed captain. This includes a test drive and practice docking at the boat lift.
On the return day, the captain will check that the tank has been refueled and inspect the boat for possible damage. Once everything is in order, your deposit will be refunded promptly.

Can I bring my pet with me?
Yes – we’re happy to offer pet-friendly villas for guests traveling with furry companions. These properties are marked with a paw icon 🐾 in the villa description on our website, so they’re easy to identify. If you’d like to bring your pet, simply let us know during the booking process. A pet fee applies, which covers additional cleaning and preparation.
Please note that only designated pet-friendly homes can accommodate pets. If you have any questions or special requests, we’ll gladly help you find the perfect match for you and your four-legged friend. -
How can I find out if a villa has a hot tub or spa with massage jets?
You can find detailed information about each villa’s pool and spa setup in the individual listing. If a hot tub or spa with massage jets is important to you, just let us know—we’ll gladly help you choose the right home.

Yes, all of our villas feature a private pool for your exclusive use during your stay. Pool towels are provided as well.

How can I book an Airport Transfer or Pickup from Fort Myers?
Booking your airport transfer is quick and easy! Simply select the transfer option during your online reservation or let us know by email or phone that you’d like to include it.
We’ll be happy to take care of all the arrangements for you. Please note that the transfer is not included in the rental price and comes at an additional cost.

Can I check in at any time?
Standard check-in is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. If you’d like to check in earlier or check out later, we’re happy to offer this as an optional service, depending on availability.
Please note:- Early check-in and late check-out must be requested separately in advance and will be charged additionally
- We can confirm availability no earlier than 24 hours before arrival or departure

When I arrive, how do I Check In?
Before your arrival, please register via the Happy Stays app. There you’ll find all important details about your booking – including the address of your villa, directions, and the door or lockbox code for self-check-in.
Once you’ve arrived at the property, we kindly ask you to contact our property management by phone to schedule a check-in appointment. We’ll gladly show you around the house and explain any house-specific features in person.
You can also reach us by email if you prefer. The check-in protocol contains the phone number for our team, and you’ll find all relevant information about the villa itself in the house manual, which is available on-site. -
Can I schedule a Cleaning during my stay?
Absolutely! If you'd like a freshen-up during your stay — for example, during a longer visit — we’re happy to offer an optional mid-stay cleaning service.
Just let us know in advance, and we’ll gladly arrange a convenient time that suits your schedule. This service is available for an additional fee.

How can payments to Happy Cape be made?
When booking directly through our website, you can conveniently pay by credit card or eCheck/ACH.
If you prefer to pay via Check, Zelle, Wise, or bank transfer, simply contact us using the BOOKING INQUIRY button and we will send an email with all necessary payment instructions and bank details.

Can I pay in Euros instead of US Dollars?
Yes, absolutely! We also accept payments in Euros (EUR). If you prefer to pay in Euros, simply send us a BOOKING INQUIRY through our website or contact form. We will then email you an offer along with our bank account details for the transfer. The total amount will be calculated using the current daily exchange rate, ensuring a fair and accurate conversion from USD to EUR. What is Included in the Booking Price?
Your booking price covers everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay: the rental fee for the villa,
- final cleaning, sales and tourist tax, as well as all standard services like
- water, waste disposal, pool and garden maintenance,
- high-speed internet, and local phone calls within the USA.
Just so you’re aware: electricity is not included and will be billed separately after your stay, based on actual usage and local rates. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help. -
Why do I have to pay a Security Deposit?
A security deposit is required for each villa. It serves as a safeguard in case of damage or excessive wear and also covers electricity usage and the cost of the gas bottle for the grill, if used during your stay.
After your departure, these costs will be calculated and deducted from your deposit. The remaining amount will be promptly refunded to your account. Please let us know whether the refund should be issued to the account used for booking or to a different one – and provide updated bank details if necessary.

Are there any Additional Costs beyond the booking price?
Yes – certain costs are not included in the booking price and will be billed separately after your stay. These include:
- Electricity, based on actual consumption and local utility rates
- Gas usage, if you use the propane bottle for the BBQ grill
Both will be deducted from your security deposit. You’ll receive a clear summary of any charges along with the remaining deposit refund.

If you have any questions or notice that something is missing or not working properly during your stay, please contact our property management team directly – we’re here for you and happy to help. Yes – our vacation homes have seasonal pricing. This allows you to choose the travel period that best fits your plans and your budget.
- Low Season: May 15 – December 14
Perfect for those who prefer a quieter stay and more affordable rates.- High Season: December 15 – May 14
Popular holiday periods (with seasonal surcharge):- Christmas Season: December 23 – January 07 Ideal for spending Christmas and New Year’s by the sea.
